Glare-free – Fran’s Review

Bright and breezy, FM Belfast’s electro-pop dance fest Brighter Days is a sunny Summer album. Full of upbeat synths and optimistic lyrics, this is light listening that will bring a smile to your face. The album is made up of solid pop tunes, with not much between the tracks, but Everything and Gold are the two that had me dancing at my desk at work this fortnight! The simple song style occasionally boarders on dreary (penultimate track Ariel, I’m looking at you!), but on the whole Brighter Days is an enjoyable addition to my music collection.

And if this album is not enough Icelandic cheer for you, try watching a few of FM Belfast’s wonderfully weird videos.

Golly gosh! We agree on one, even the songs!
